When bride and groom, Kaitlin and Travis, first discussed their idea for a “whimsical Texas wedding,” they knew Gathering Oaks Retreat was the perfect venue to turn their vision into a reality. With our outdoor scenery and southern charm, Kaitlin was able to sprinkle personal touches throughout the property that created a rustic charm effect enjoyed by everyone.
The cake table was decorated in relaxed elegance, while floating flower decor dangled from the trees.
The bride wore a stunning strapless mermaid gown and the groom looked dapper in a gray suit. They were accompanied by bridesmaids and groomsman, all looking beautiful and dashing. Two flower girls and a ring bearer proceeded the bride, carrying a balloon that read, “Here comes the greatest adventure of your life."
After the wedding the couple continued their theme of Texas whimsy with an airstream photo booth.
